A very Finnish world-record attempt to make the world a little happier, one sauna session at a time.

About Nordic Saunathon

Nordic Saunathon and Nordic Happiness Summit come from the same place, but they show up differently.

The Nordic Happiness Summit is where ideas are shared out loud. It brings researchers, entrepreneurs, students, leaders, and thinkers together to talk about happiness, wellbeing, and the systems that shape how we live and work.

Nordic Saunathon is where those ideas are explored.

Instead of large stages and memorable keynotes, Nordic Saunathon is built around a ritual that Finns have trusted for centuries: the sauna. A place where hierarchy disappears, conversations slow down, and people meet as they are. It is not about performance or polish, it is about presence.

While the Nordic Happiness Summit focuses on dialogue and insight, Nordic Saunathon focuses on experience. It turns Nordic wellbeing from something you listen to into something you feel. Together, they form a bigger picture of what Nordic happiness actually means and looks like.

You might want to think of them as siblings. One speaks, the other listens. Both are rooted in the same belief that happiness and wellbeing are not soft values, but serious foundations for sustainable growth, better decisions, and healthier communities.

Nordic Saunathon exists to remind us that sometimes the most meaningful process happens when we slow down, sit together, and let the heat do its work.
